SOMETHING FOR THE FISH Premieres At CPR In Brooklyn

The world premiere of SOMETHING FOR THE FISH, written by Emily Krause, directed by Jenna Rossman, and produced by Emily Caffery runs August 9-12 at CPR-Center for Performance Research, located at 361 Manhattan Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

BWW Previews: MAMMA MIA at North Shore Music Theatre

Audiences can expect to have the time of their life at MAMMA MIA! Join Sophie, a 20-year-old bride-to-be, as she searches for her father, who she has never known. After reading her mother's diary, she discovers there are three potential candidates, and unbeknownst to her mother, she invites each of them in hopes of having one of them walk her down the aisle. As the big day draws near, surprises abound for her mother, Donna, with the arrival of old flames and old friends. MAMMA MIA! is packed with 22 of ABBA's greatest hits, including 'Dancing Queen,' 'Super Trouper,' 'Take A Chance on Me,' and 'The Winner Takes It All.'

ZACH Theatre is proud to announce the cast for the worldwide smash hit musical, Disney's Beauty and the Beast featuring the animated film's Academy Award-winning score with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, with additional songs composed by Alan Menken and lyrics by Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton. Disney's Beauty and the Beast plays ZACH's Topfer Stage from July 11-September 2, 2018 under the direction of Associate Artistic Director Abe Reybold with musical direction by Allen Robertson and choreography by Sara Burke.

Donna Sheridan (Shanna Jones) was the lead singer in one of the early female power trios, 'Donna and the Dynamos,' back in the summers of love period in the late 1960s. She found the love of her life, Sam Carmichael (John Franklin), and lost him to a previous personal commitment while Donna and her crew performed among the Greek Islands in the Mediterranean Sea. That summer Donna had two rebound relationships with other men. All three relationships were documented in her diary. Donna became pregnant by whom Donna is not sure.
