Hypokrit Theatre Company and Access Theater present R + J, a female/genderqueer adaptation of Shakespeare's classic Romeo and Juliet. Adapted and directed by Molly Houlahan featuring a diverse cast of 6 women/ gender-nonconforming actors playing all of the roles, previews begin September 27 at Access Theater in Tribeca. Opening is slated for Today, October 4.

Sol Children Theatre will present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Sol Theatre in Boca Raton from October 19th through November 4th.   

TV One's True Crime Mondays gears up for a mid-season return with all new episodes of the network's hit crime docu-series FOR MY MAN starting on October 1 at 10 p.m. ET/9C.

Christmas is coming early this year! Lifetime sleighs the 2018 holiday season this year with the network's It's a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, featuring 14 all-new original movies and nine acquired films. Several artists hit the two stages including - Ludacris, Flaujae, Ar'mon and Trey, Bre-Z, Molly Brazy, Brie and many more, as well as a surprise appearance by the Democratic candidate in Georgia's Governor election, Stacey Abrams. THE MOORS seeks to say something about the visibility and state of women today through the lens of satirizing Victorian era romantic literature like JANE EYRE, WUTHERING HEIGHTS, or THE WOMAN IN WHITE. I am not sure it wholly achieves what it sets out to do, but it certainly has a lot of fun along the way.

Broadway In Chicago, the producers of HEARTBREAK HOTEL, and Authentic Brands Group (ABG), owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises today, are thrilled to announce a new four-week extension of their smash hit musical.  Tickets for the new block of tickets will go on-sale today.  Tickets will be available for performances through October 28, 2018.

The cast of HEARTBREAK HOTEL are inspired to host a Candlelight Vigil to honor Elvis as part of Elvis Week on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 6:15PM in front of the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut).  Elvis Week is an annual celebration to commemorate the life and legacy of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock and Roll.  Elvis and HEARTBREAK HOTEL fans alike are welcome to join this celebration, which will be a Chicago addition to the Graceland tradition.
