Multi-platinum pop-rock band BARENAKED LADIES have released FAKE NUDES: NAKED, a special digital-only extended EP, which features acoustic renditions of 8 songs from the band's fifteenth studio album, Fake Nudes.  Additionally, the band released the Edward Pond-directed performance video of “Bringing it Home,” which can be seen HERE.  The EP and video release comes on the heels of last night's kickoff show for the “Group Therapy Tour,” a 44-city run that will see Barenaked Ladies summering on the road with Hootie & The Blowfish. 

Plague Vendor Share Latest Single, New Album BY NIGHT Out 6/7

'Prism' is the latest single from Southern California's Plague Vendor, who will release their new album By Night next Friday, June 7 via Epitaph. 'This was the first song where I could use a breakbeat on this album,' note dummer Luke Perine. 'I was inspired by Beck's 'Devil's Haircut.' There are drum breaks on the track but not solos. It was pure fun.'

BIG BANG THEORY Brings Back Barenaked Ladies To Celebrate Series Finale

A dozen years after executive producers Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady asked Barenaked Ladies to compose a theme song for a new show they'd created called “The Big Bang Theory,” the multi-platinum band was invited back for last night's historic series finale. Downtown Music Publishing has signed a publishing administration and catalog marketing agreement for the George Gershwin catalog with the Godowsky family and Heyward Memorial Fund, respective successors to the historic American songwriter and Porgy and Bess authors DuBose and Dorothy Heyward. In addition to many of Gershwin's preeminent works, the agreement includes management of more than 300 previously unpublished songs by Gershwin that have been largely unavailable since their discovery in the 1980s.
