The Berkshire Theatre Group cast of Rock and Roll Man: The Alan Freed Story had their first read through earlier this week in New York City! Rock and Roll Man is being presented by Berkshire Theatre Group, in association with five-time Tony Award-Winning Caiola Productions (Once on this Island, Dear Evan Hansen, The Color Purple, All The Way, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf). Rock and Roll Man has a book by Gary Kupper, Larry Marshak and Rose Caiola, with original music and lyrics by Gary Kupper.

First Unity continues the launch of ARTS46/4 with the second of five special events: MOVEMENTS OF MOTHERHOOD, a Mother's Day afternoon of dance, with dessert provided by Village Inn, happening Sunday, May 13th at 1:30pm.   

First Unity announces the launch of ARTS46/4. Named for First Unity's location on 46th Avenue and 4th Street North in St. Petersburg, ARTS46/4 is an independent-yet-integrated venue / producing partner to bridge the Arts community with First Unity Spiritual Campus.  In April, ARTS46/4 will kick-off with a five month arts initiative, which includes both a dedicated Arts component in all the Sunday services, and producing a series of public special events featuring well-known members of Tampa Bay's thriving Arts community.

Matching the earlier comedy of this summer's A Midsummer Night's Dream, John Fagan and his band of performers brings Shakespeare's bloody tale of war and family mayhem to Falls Park on the Reedy  on Thursday, July 13th with Titus Andronicus.

In 2015, the Eglevsky Ballet engaged Maurice B. Curry as its new Executive Artistic Director. In two years, the Eglevsky Ballet has doubled the enrollment in its dance academy and now boasts ten educators and a resident artist. A full slate of year-round ballet classes and workshops are offered for students ranging from three years of age to 20 years old.

It opens in a seedy disco and closes at a papal mass. In between, there's music, mayhem, and, just maybe, a little divine intervention.

The Nutmeg Ballet Conservatory will present IMPACT 2017, March 25 and 26 in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. Watch in wonder as the dancers of The Nutmeg Ballet enthrall you with a mixed repertoire of classical ballet and original contemporary works. Excerpts from two full length ballets, "Giselle" and "Coppelia," alongside new creations by guest choreographers Kinsun Chan, Brian Reeder and Kate St. Amand, will be featured.  

ROBERTO VILLANUEVA, Executive & Artistic Director and Founder of BalaSole Dance Company, presents the 6th Year Anniversary and 17th NYC concert season of BalaSole in 'MIXTUS,' a new program of solos in a broad range of dance styles, music choices and artistic voices, on August 13 & 14, 8PM, at Ailey Citigroup Theater, 405 West 55 Street.

The Sixth Annual Dance Against Cancer was held on Monday, April 25, 2016.  The event had over 500 guests in attendance and raised more than $250,000 for the American Cancer Society, which will fund lifesaving cancer research and support patient and family service programs like Hope Lodge New York City.

? Columbia Ballet Collaborative (CBC) is pleased to present a program of six original and restaged works for its upcoming spring performances. Founded in 2007 by five professional ballet dancers enrolled at Columbia University, CBC is comprised of students from all of the University's undergraduate colleges and affiliates.

Manhattan Youth Ballet presents WITH REGARD... In Practice & Performance from May 29 & 30, 2015 at Manhattan Movement & Arts Center. In Practice & Performancewill feature world premieres by Brian Reeder, Marina Stavitskaya, Daniel Ulbricht, Frederick Earl Mosley and Natalia Boesch as well as George Balanchine's Valse Fantaisie. Performance times are Friday, May 29 at 7pm and Saturday, May 30 at 3pm and 7pm. Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students.

The final performance of Manhattan Youth Ballet's spring production, Stories that Dance: Shakespeare and his Legacy, was full of joy. Four story ballets were performed with the young dancers involved in the story telling, rather than just going through the movements.
