Impro Theatre's mission is to create a play from scratch in a particular style, right before the eyes of its audience. Their improvised plays include: The Twilight Zone, and the works of Shakespeare, Chekhov, Dickens, Tennessee Williams, even Sondheim - all unscripted. This time around it's The Western Unscripted, now onstage at the Falcon Theatre in Burbank through October 5.

Impro Theatre is set to celebrate William Shakespeare's 450th birthday tonight, April 25 with a special performance of its currently running production, Shakespeare UnScripted, a post-show discussion, and a champagne reception complete with birthday cake. Impro Theatre has announced their newest production, Shakespeare UnScripted, directed by Brian Lohmann and Dan O'Connor. Shakespeare UnScripted begins preview performances on Thursday, March 20 at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre (upstairs at The Pasadena Playhouse) in Pasadena. Opening is set for Sunday, March 30, at 5pm. Performances will continue through May 4 only.

The award-winning Impro Theatre presents its critically acclaimed show Tennessee Williams UnScripted as part of South Coast Repertory's Studio SCR series, for five performances from February 27 to March 2. Directed by Impro's Associate Artistic Director Brian Lohmann, each performance of Tennessee Williams UnScripted presents a new, completely improvised play in the style of Tennessee Williams. The show has received Critic's Picks from the LA Times and LA Weekly.

In Great Britain, the period between 1963 and 1966 was one of the most extraordinary moments of youth cultural history as well as in popular music history. MODROCK, with book by Hogan Thomas-Jones, directed by Brian Lohmann, produced by Tom Coleman with choreography by Michele Spears, is an homage to this period and to the many iconic bands and songwriters who emerged from it.
