Award-winning actors Bill Connington (ZOMBIE) and Cadden Jones (WEST SIDE STORY) appear today in the sparkling George Bernard Shaw comedy PYGMALION at a private club on Manhattan's Upper East Side. Bill Connington won several awards for acting in the play and short film versions of ZOMBIE, based on the novella by literary giant Joyce Carol Oates. Cadden Jones has been seen as the lead in WEST SIDE STORY and THE MUSIC MAN, as well as in LAW & ORDER SVU and BLUE BLOODS. Connington and Jones were trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, respectively.
Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Lily Tomlin will make a special guest appearance next month in the 10th anniversary edition of Broadway Backwards. Also joining the lineup is Honeymoon in Vegas star Rob McClure, who will share hosting duties with Julie Halston from the current hit revival of You Can't Take It With You.
Casting is now complete for the upcoming 4×15 workshop of David Davila's VOX POP at Musical Theatre Factory in Manhattan. Directed by Srda Vasiljevic with musical direction by Karl Hedrick, the musical tells the story of a future where countries are traded like stocks between powerful corporations - bees are extinct and humans slaves must pollinate the crops.

Closing the Gap - A Benefit Concert - A special One Night Only Concert featuring the songs of Dramatist Guild Fellows Dana Levinson and Stacey Weingarten. Inspired by an Ira Glass quote, musical theater writing team Levinson and Weingarten air their dirty laundry and reveal the sometimes painful but often hilarious process of closing the gap between artistic taste and ability. All profits from this concert will go to the Levels Teen Center at the Great Neck Library.
