THE LYONS Box Office Opens March 22

The box office for the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) -- where Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS begins its Broadway run with a cast starring Tony winners Linda Lavin and Dick Latessa -- opens for window sales on Thursday, March 22 starting at 10 a.m.

Linda Lavin to Perform Concerts in San Francisco, 3/17-22

The Tony Award-winning actress Linda Lavin -- who returns to Broadway this spring in Nicky Silver's comedy THE LYONS starting April 5 at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) -- will perform two concerts this month before settling into rehearsals for THE LYONS.

Nicky Silver's play THE LYONS is getting its world-premiere this fall with an official opening night October 11 at Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.), it has been announced by Vineyard Theatre artistic director Douglas Aibel and co-artistic director Sarah Stern. Photo Flash: Linda Lavin Celebrates CD Release at Birdland

On Monday, December 5, Tony and Golden Globe Award-winning actress and singer Linda Lavin celebrated the release of her new CD, 'Possibilities' (Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records) by gathering a few good friends to join her in concert on the Birdland stage. Lavin's special guests included Nancy Dussault, Brenda Pressley, Michael Esper & Kate Jennings-Grant, as well as Billy Stritch (piano), Steve Doyle (bass) and Steve Bakunas (drums).

Vineyard Theatre Announces 2nd Extension of THE LYONS Thru 11/20

Vineyard Theatre (108 E. 15 St.) is extending its world-premiere production of Nicky Silver's play THE LYONS a second time -- extending now through November 20 -- it has been announced by The Vineyard's Artistic Director Douglas Aibel and Co-Artistic Director Sarah Stern.
