Cinderella welcomed its first same sex proposal last night, September 4, directly following the 7:30pm show. The couple, Jason Aronne and Kunal Ghose, lives in San Diego and have been together for two years. Ghose said: 'Growing up in India you don't hear many western stories but you do read Cinderella and it left a lasting impression of finding 'happily ever after' on me. This would be a best place to start our happily ever after like Cinderella and her Prince.'

The Friday, May 31st broadcast of WNBC-TV/Channel 4's program 'New York Live' seen weekdays at 12:30 p.m. will feature a backstage interview with CINDERELLA stars Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana.

The musical is directed by Mark Brokaw. Josh Rhodes is choreographer. Music adaptation, supervision and arrangements are by David Chase. Andy Einhorn is music director and conductor.
