LYRICS OF JORDAN BECK Set for The Duplex Tonight
Lyricist Jordan Beck brings an evening of his work to NYC for one night only tonight, July 22m at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre. The concert will feature his work with composers Jonathan May (with whom Beck recently released an album entitled "Cousins: The Songs of Beck & May"), Jason & Nolan Livesay, and Taylor Peckham.Jordan Beck is an alumni of the Johnny Mercer Songwriter's Project at Northwestern University. His work has been seen at The Kennedy Center as part of ASCAP's Broadway Today and Tomorrow Series as well as last year's ASCAP/DreamWorks Musical Theatre Workshop. The concert will feature performances by Garrett Deagon (Life Could Be A Dream), Dan Domenech (Broadway's Rock of Ages), Hannah Elless (Broadway's Godspell, Somewhere In Time @ Portland Center Stage), David Gordon (Flashdance - The Musical) Victor Hernandez (Broadway's Bonnie & Clyde), Destiny Lofton, Katherine McLaughlin, Aleks Pevec (Broadway's Evita, Catch Me If You Can), Zach Reiner-Harris (Broadway's Spring Awakening), Ian Michael Stuart (Peter and the Starcatcher - First Nat. Tour), Michael Taglieri (Witness Uganda), Branch Woodman (Broadway's Cinderella, Bye Bye Birdie), and Jaidyn Young (Broadway's Annie).
