The Computer School is hosting another Broadway Stars Rock for School Music fundraiser on March 1 at 7pm. In the past their fundraisers have included Broadway bigwigs Terrance Mann, Brad Little, Charlotte d'Amboise, Jennifer Prescott, and Sean McCourt.

Beginning tonight Monday, July 27, there will be a new ?man behind the mask' in the Broadway production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which is the longest-running show in Broadway history. John Cudia, the recent star of the National Tour, will take over the role on Broadway after a nearly decade-long association with the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by Harold Prince.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA star Howard McGillin will sing his last 'music of the night' this evening as he ends his long run in the production's title role. Now, after 10 years since his first of many engagements with the production, he has decided to pursue other theatrical ventures and will play his final performance tonight Saturday, July 25th.

On April 30th, Times Square Hard Rock Cafe welcomed 'Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway' with the purpose to raise money for World Hunger. The Broadway League announced the winners of the Touring Broadway Awards today at its annual Spring Road Conference. Wicked was recognized for the second year in a row as the 'Touring Broadway Audience Choice Award' and also took home prizes for 'Best Musical Score of a Touring Production' and 'Best Direction of a Touring Production.'

Glimmerglass Opera has announced that Lisa Vroman will sing the role of Lilli Vanessi/Kate, and Brad Little will sing Fred Graham/Petruchio in the company's 2008 summer production of Cole Porter's Kiss Me, Kate. The production opens the Glimmerglass Opera Festival Season on July 5 at the Alice Busch Opera Theater in Cooperstown, New York, and runs through August 23.
