Dead Writers Theatre Collective Announces Inaugural Production: THE VORTEX, Opening 7/20

Dead Writers Theatre Collective is proud to announce its inaugural production, Noel Coward's The Vortex, directed by Jim Schneider, July 20 - August 26, at the Greenhouse Theater Complex, 2257 North Lincoln Ave. Preview performances are Thursday, July 12 - Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, July 15 at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Turtle Shell Productions' 8-MINUTE MADNESS PLAYWRIGHT FESTIVAL OF 2009 is BACK for its sixth season, in our beautiful theater space in the heart of Times Square. We've received an overwhelming number of scripts from playwrights across the globe, and of these, 11 original works have been selected for the FESTIVAL, along with THE BEST OF - 9 of the best plays from the last 5 years. Each group will be presented as a separate performance. THE FESTIVAL brings together directors, award-winning designers and members of Turtle Shell Productions' own in-house acting ensemble, The Terrapin Troupe.

Nicu's Sppon to Present 'A Kite Cut Loose' Starting 10/10

NICU'S SPOON is pleased to announce their production of A Kite Cut Loose In The Middle Of The Sky, directed by Russell Waldman. A Kite Cut Loose In The Middle Of The Sky will play its World Premiere in a three-week limited engagement at the Spoon Theater (38 West 38th Street, 5th Fl.)
