ReVision Theatre will be concluding its' successful reading series: READINGS FROM ASBURY PARK with a brand new musical DAYBREAK, words and music by Bobby Cronin. DAYBREAK will be performed April 25 at 6:30 at The Showroom.
"THANK YOU…NEXT", a mockumentary web series that follows a disconcerting creative team as they attempt to cast a Broadway-bound musical of the 1999 film 'Boys Don't Cry', dominated the Mockumentary Category at the 2011 LA Web Series Festival with a total of six awards.
Judy Kent, currently represented on Broadway as a producer of Driving Miss Daisy, presents an invitation-only reading of Welcome to My Life, a new pop/rock musical with a book by Alicia Dempster and Bobby Cronin, music and lyrics by Bobby Cronin. The reading will take place on April 11, 2011 at 2pm.
Broadway Speaks OUT and Dixon Place presented 'Broadway Sings for Japan' on Monday March 28th at 7:30pm. This benefit concert for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief was be free admission with a $10 suggested donation to help out in the relief efforts. The concert helped raise over $1,000 for Japan clean water relief.
