Broadway Unlocked founder Jessica Ryan announced today that the sixth annual #giveback concert is slated for Sunday, May 13 at 7.30pm at WNYC's The Greene Space (44 Charlton Street). Doors open at 6pm. Along with producers Kelly Weaver and Mike Borges, Broadway Unlocked is bringing Broadway favorites together to perform and raise funds for the Crime Victims Treatment Center, a not-for-profit organization committed to helping people heal from violent crime. The live concert is directed by Nathan Tysen (Tuck Everlasting, Amelie).

Following the tragic events that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, the Broadway community united with many of the inspiring and world-changing MSD students to perform From Broadway With Love. Check out the photos below!

On Monday, April 23, TILL SOON, ANNE(book and lyrics by Christine Toy Johnson, music by Bobby Cronin) will have its first public presentation, directed by Lisa Rothe (HOLD THESE TRUTHS). Jeremy Robin Lyons (THE MAD ONES) music directs.

New York's own Queens Library presents "The Goal Is Always Joy: How to Thrive in Transitional Times", a fun and entertaining workshop interspersed with musical performances by Broadway's Lauren Elder (Hair, Side Show), Composer/Lyricist Bobby Cronin (Mary & Max, The Cover) and Dream Interpreter Jefferson Harman (Star Dreams Cafe, Life Unedited Radio).

The Cabaret Showdown is a monthly game show produced by Sound Street Productions in association with Frigid New York @ Horse Trade since 2011. This unique competition is a mixture of live karaoke and musical improvisation, with a game board. Contestants are asked to choose songs from various categories with no knowledge of what the song will be until 30 seconds before they sing. The winner from each month receives a free one-hour showcase performance at the Kraine Theater presented the following month. Contestants can register in advance at the official website.

The musical theatre department at the New York Film Academy (now known as the Professional Conservatory of Musical Theatre) was launched in 2009 with nine students in the first class. Nine years later, hundreds of students have studied musical theatre at NYFA. The school's mission is to teach techniques being used every night on Broadway… and their faculty is the backbone of the Great White Way!

Johnson and Cronin, along with Wade McCollum (ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES YOU), Jaygee Macapugay (SCHOOL OF ROCK), Devin Ilaw (MISS SAIGON), Lauren Elder (SIDE SHOW), Cat Brindisi (THE PASSAGE) and David Darrow (book/music/lyrics writer of THE PASSAGE) will be singing songs from the show with William Demaniow at the piano and David Darrow on guitar.

Big Brother Productions presents an industry reading of MARY & MAX, a new musical based on the 2009 Australian claymation film about two unlikely pen pals, on Sunday, November 12th, at 3pm.

After a very successful reading this summer at the Alliance Theatre produced by Broadway Dreams Foundation, MARY & MAX will have its first 29-hour reading in New York City.

Helping Adam launch the show were Orange is the New Black's Annie Golden ('Norma Romano') and Lin Tucci ('Anita DeMarco'), plus Broadway's Lauren Elder (revivals of Hair & Side Show), and award-winning composer/lyricist Bobby Cronin (forthcoming Mary & Max).
