The Film Arcade today announced it has secured the US rights to the hilarious heart-warming comedy, FAMILY, written and directed by Laura Steinel. The film premiered at SXSW 2018 and stars Taylor Schilling ( Netflix's “Orange is the New Black”), Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta”), Jessie Ennis (LIFE OF THE PARTY) and newcomer Bryn Vale. The cast and producers of AMC's hit scripted series “The Walking Dead,” “Fear the Walking Dead” and “Preacher” will return to this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, CA. AMC's Emmy®-nominated series “Better Call Saul” will also make its Comic-Con debut alongside a reunion panel for “Breaking Bad” in celebration of the Emmy® Award-winning drama's 10-year anniversary.
Better Call Saul is an American television crime drama series created by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. It is a spin-off prequel of Gilligan's prior series Breaking Bad. Set in the early 2000s, Better Call Saul follows the story of con-man turned small-time lawyer, James Morgan 'Jimmy' McGill (Bob Odenkirk), six years before the events of Breaking Bad, showing his transformation in the persona of Saul Goodman, as well as briefly explore his life some time after the events of Breaking Bad. The series also explores the situations of other Breaking Bad characters in the years prior. The show premiered on AMC on February 8, 2015 and has since finished airing its third season; the 10-episode fourth season is scheduled to air starting August 6, 2018.

AMC announced today an August 6 premiere date for its original series “Better Call Saul” and “Lodge 49.” Season four of the critically acclaimed and Emmy®-nominated “Better Call Saul,” produced by Sony Pictures Television, will air Monday, August 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT immediately followed by the series premiere of “Lodge 49” at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Both series will have a presence at the ATX Television Festival, taking place June 7-10 in Austin, Texas, including a panel with “Better Call Saul” executive producer Vince Gilligan and star Bob Odenkirk, and a sneak peek screening of the “Lodge 49” premiere followed by a panel with stars Wyatt Russell and Brent Jennings and executive producers Peter Ocko and Dan Carey.

Freestyle Digital Media, the recently-acquired Digital Film Distribution division of Byron Allen's Entertainment Studios, has acquired the domestic rights to LOS ANGELES OVERNIGHT, a neo-noir thriller directed by first timer Michael Chrisoulakis. The film stars Arielle Brachfeld, Azim Rizk, Peter Bogdanovich, Lin Shaye, Ashley Park, Camilla Jackson and Julian Bane. The film will be available in theaters on March 9th and on digital platforms on March 13th, 2018.
