Iron Mountain Inc. to Receive Charlie Award

Iron Mountain Incorporated (NYSE: IRM), the global leader in information protection and storage services, announced today that the Hollywood Arts Council will recognize the company for its work over the last 50 years to preserve motion pictures, song recordings, TV shows and other priceless cultural artifacts. The Council will bestow its Charlie Award for 'Preservation Arts' to members of Iron Mountain's Film & Sound Services at this Saturday night's 30th Anniversary Gala and Annual Awards Presentation to be held at the Jim Henson Company Studios (the historic Charlie Chaplin Studio) in Hollywood, Calif.

Celebrity Arrivals for Charlie Awards Announced

Arrivals for The Hollywood Arts Council's 30th Anniversary Gala and 22nd Annual Charlie Awards honoring individuals, businesses and organizations who have made outstanding contributions to Hollywood's art and culture will take place at Jim Henson Studios, historic site of the original Charlie Chaplin Studios and A&M Records and present home of the world-famous Muppets; 1416 North LaBrea Avenue. On March 29, a celebrity and VIP reception with cocktails and a silent auction will beging at 6:30pm with a finner and the program to follow at 7:30. Recepients this year are Bob Mackie (Inagural Fashion Arts Award), the Hollywood Wax Museum (Entertainment Arts Award), the Blank Theatre at 2nd Stage (Theatre Arts Award), Community Redevelopment Agency (Public Art Award), Iron Mountain (Preservation Arts Award), Cinefamily/Silent Movie Theatre (Cinematic Arts Award), AYLA Arslanian (Community Arts Award) and Councilmember Tom LaBonge (Special Recognition Award). Red carpet arrivals start at 6:00 and are scheduled to include Beth Broderick, Maria Conchita Alonso, Connie Stevens, Bob Mackie, the Sundher family (owners of the Hollywood Wax Museum), Mitzi Gaynor, Bob Mackie, Vanessa Williams and many more.

Bob Mackie, the legendary fashion icon who has been hailed as the Sultan of Sequins and the Rajah of Rhinestones for his sparkling, visually stunning and imaginative costume designs, will be honored with the Inaugural Fashion Arts Charlie Award by the Hollywood Arts Council at their Black-Tie 30th Anniversary Gala and 22nd Annual Charlie Awards, emceed by KABC's George Pennachio, to be held at the Jim Henson Studios, the site of the original Charlie Chaplin Studios and home of the world-famous Muppets; 1416 North LaBrea Avenue (south of Sunset Boulevard and De Longpre Avenue); Hollywood, CA 90028 on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Mackie's Award will be presented by Golden Globe-nominated actress, Mitzi Gaynor. The event will be dedicated to the late Honorary Mayor of Hollywood, Johnny Grant.

Legendary designers John Conklin and Robert Fletcher are among the recipients of the 2008 TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards. For his achievements as both a costume and set designer, John Conklin will receive the TDF/Irene Sharaff Awards' special Robert L. B. Tobin Award for Lifetime Achievement in Theatrical Design. Acclaimed costume designer Robert Fletcher, who also produced, performed and designed sets, will receive the 2008 TDF/Irene Sharaff Lifetime Achievement Award at a ceremony on Friday, March 28, at the Hudson Theatre in New York City.
