The Houston Symphony's November programming features a piano-packed lineup as pianists Daniil Trifonov, Tony DeSare and Jeffrey Kahane appear with the orchestra. Additionally, thousands of 4th and 5th grade Houston-area students will make the journey to Jones Hall for special student concerts.

Sully Erna--founder, vocalist, guitarist and songwriter for the multi-platinum rock band Godsmack--will release a new solo album HOMETOWN LIFE Today, September 30 via BMG.

This September, Feinstein's/54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

Lynn Henderson delighted a small but enthusiastic audience at Don't Tell Mama in the final performance of her new show, T'AIN'T NOBODY'S BIZNESS IF I DO! With musical director Douglas J. Cohen, a multi-award winning songwriter (including a Drama Desk Award nomination and the Noel Coward Prize), and bass player Bob Sabin (himself the winner of numerous jazz awards, who sits on the music faculty both at the prestigious Hunter College High School and NYU), the veteran big band, choral, and lounge singer combined material from her 2014 CD, If We Only Have Love, with classics from the Great American Songbook (George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kander and Ebb, among others). Ably directed by 10-time MAC Award winner Barry Kleinbort, the show also included more contemporary material by Billy Joel, Jerry Herman, and Randy Newman.

American Rock Band 3 Doors Down have been added as the final artist to join Chris Stapleton, Kid Rock, Larry The Cable Guy, Luke Bryan and Travis Tritt to celebrate with Charlie Daniels at his 80th Birthday Volunteer Jam on November 30 at Bridgestone Arena.

Cortland Repertory Theatre is announcing upcoming events for the fall months, most to be held at "CRT Downtown" located at 24 Port Watson Street in historic downtown Cortland. "This is our second year-round season, and we're planning more events than last year, with a wide variety to appeal to all tastes," Producing Artistic Director Kerby Thompson says. "Even though the summer is winding down, we've been keeping busy planning for the fall and winter months.  We're very excited about what is coming next!" 

Rossington - Gary Rossington, the legendary founding member and guitarist of Lynyrd Skynyrd along with his wife, Dale Krantz-Rossington, whom many call The First Lady of Southern Rock, release the heartfelt, soul-grabbing, bluesy new album Take It On Faith, November 4, 2016 on Loud & Proud Records. 

Susan Neuffer returns to the cabaret stage after a 10-year absence with a new show, "Apocalypse Wow", directed by MAC award winner Lennie Watts, with musical direction by Gerry Dieffenbach. Take SA's king of the keyboard, Ian Von Memerty, and put him together with eight of the greatest songwriting piano stars and you have the recipe for KEYBOARD KILLERS, which will play a season at Pieter Toerien's Montecasino Theatre this October.

Chicago, fasten your seat belts-the world premiere musical HELLDRIVERS OF DAYTONA has parked at the Royal George Theatre...and it's a bumpy, messy ride. Billed as a spoof of 1960s racing films, composer Berton Averre (known for 'My Sharona'), lyricist Rob Meurer, and book writer Mark Saltzman have developed a show that's entirely too on the nose. HELLDRIVERS lacks the satirical tone it seeks; instead, the first act replaces the sexual repression common in those 1960s movies with blatant, unoriginal sexual innuendoes and jokes in poor taste. Though conceived as an ironic take on the movies of that era, HELLDRIVERS feels overall cringe-worthy in the first act. The show shifts gears in the second act to focus more on sending up a number of great American musicals (and one Billy Joel song). The overall experience is erratic.

The Billy Joel concert scheduled for September 30th at Madison Square Garden will be moved to November 21.

It's another sad day at Hamilton, as tonight the cast will wish au revoir to Tony winner Renee Elise Goldsberry, who will play her final performance as Angelica Schuyler. In honor of her last performance, we've collected some of our favorite moments of the star in action below!

The Philharmonia Orchestra of New York (PONY), a modern orchestra dedicated to breaking classical conventions, announces its upcoming 2017 season on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, with a concert and presentation at Jazz at Lincoln Center.
