June is set to be another fantastic month at Epstein Theatre where there is a programme packed full of theatre, music, and comedy.

Bitter Pill returns to the Players' Ring stage with Titus Andronicus Musicus, William Shakespeare's violent, bloody, grotesquely, ridiculous, abomination of a play with traditional and original music and lyrics by Billy Butler. Show times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 3 pm, tickets are $18 with discounts for students, seniors, and Players' Ring members. With Dr. Oz as Grand Marshal, musical performances will be featured during the parade, and national telecast, and will include the following artists: a special 40th Anniversary performance by The Village People, CeeLo Green, Ruben Studdard, The Band of Merrymakers featuring Tyler Glenn (Neon Trees), Zach Barrett (American Authors), Jeremy Ruzumna (Fitz & The Tantrums) and Kay Hanley (Letters to Cleo), Nickelodeon star Breanna Yde of School of Rock, American Idol winner from Season 14, Nick Fradiani, Tom Dixon and The Tearaways. For the telecast only, additional appearances will include performances by The Tenors, Donny and Marie and Human Nature. The parade will also feature a special tribute for Marine Toys for Tots from Ludacris; and magic performances by the stars of The CW hit series, Masters of Illusion Tommy Wind and Farrell Dillon.

There is a moment in the musical, 'Buddy,' when the audience realizes they are part of the show. They are not just the audience at Hackmatack Playhouse in Berwick, Maine, but they are thrust into the Buddy Holly show itself as part of the audience at the Apollo Theater in New York.

Casting has been announced for the developmental production of the new musical, Missing: Wynter by Billy Butler (Gay Bride of Frankenstein). It will premiere as a part of The Players' Ring Theatre 2014/15 season. Missing: Wynter is a modern cautionary tale somewhere between Cervantes and Brothers Grimm; about a young girl who disappears without a trace, her father's struggle to find her, and ultimately, himself. It's a heart wrenching story of love, hope, and living.
