Green Day's 2004 concept album American Idiot shot to fame for its themes of disillusion and angst in society during events such as the war in Iraq. The rock musical based on the album of the same name comes to Brighton as part of its 10th anniversary UK tour.

Inspired by the power struggle between the richest of the Oligarchs and an ambitious Vladimir Putin after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Lin (House of Cards) explores U.S. - Russia relations then and now. Directed by Jackson Gay, and by special arrangement with Robert Ahrens, Mickey Liddell and Michael Mills, Kleptocracy runs January 18 - February 24, 2019 in the Kreeger Theater.

The award-winning Company Theatre announces non-equity open call auditions for the Tony Award winning hit musical Green Day's American Idiot on Monday, December 17, 7 pm, The Company Theatre Center for Performing Arts, 30 Accord Park Drive, Norwell. Callbacks will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 7 pm. American Idiot book and lyrics are by Billie Joe Armstrong, with additional book by Michael Mayer, music and lyrics by Green Day. The show is directed and choreographed by Corinne M. Mason with music direction by Steve Bass. All roles are open for casting. Further information will be available at auditions.
