Harold Ramis Film School Partners With NBC To Offer New 'Emerging Voices' Scholarship

The Harold Ramis Film School ("HRFS") at The Second City announced today that it has partnered with NBC to create the Emerging Voices Scholarship that will be awarded to students from diverse backgrounds to study at the world-renowned comedy film school. Up to four scholarships will be awarded beginning with students from the upcoming fall 2019 class.

Radio Disney is throwing a real-time live party for its most passionate fans, evolving music's biggest event for families to the newly rebranded 'ARDYs: A Radio Disney Music Celebration' (for the past six years known as the 'Radio Disney Music Awards'). Actress, singer, songwriter, Hollywood Records and Republic Records recording artist Sofia Carson (Disney Channel's 'Descendants,' Freeform's 'Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists') is set to host the exciting music and star-filled event. For the first time, it will be a live telecast, originating from Los Angeles, on SUNDAY, JUNE 16 (8:00 p.m. EDT/re-airing at 8:00 p.m. PDT), on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW, with a simulcast on Radio Disney. Multiple Emmy® and Producers Guild Award nominee Casey Patterson Entertainment ('Lip Sync Battle' and 'MTV Movie Awards') will executive produce the show.

Hylton Performing Arts Center announced today its 2019-2020 season of mainstage performances, featuring a diverse lineup of artists and ensembles across genres, as part of Hylton Presents, Hylton Family Series, Matinee Idylls, and the American Roots Series. The Hylton Center also announced the first Hylton Center EXTRA! for the season: the husband and wife duo and banjo icons, B la Fleck and Abigail Washburn, in a special concert event featuring their unique blend of alternative bluegrass.
