Filmed Version of WHAT THE CONSTITUTION MEANS TO ME Will Arrive on Amazon Prime Video This Fall

A filmed version of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning play What the Constitution Means to Me, created by and starring Heidi Schreck, will premiere Oct. 16, 2020, exclusively on Amazon Prime Video, in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. In the final, record-breaking week of its hit Broadway run, director Marielle Heller (director of Oscar-nominated films A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and Can You Ever Forgive Me?) captured the play at the Helen Hayes Theater.

Trinity Rep Presents FADE

Trinity Rep continues its 2019-20 Season with the behind-the-scenes dramatic comedy Fade by Tanya Saracho. Directed by Tatyana-Marie Carlo, the show features guest artist Elia Saldana as Lucia, a Mexican-born novelist who just accepted her first job writing for television, where her ambition might make her betray everything she thought she valued. Opposite Saldana is resident acting company member Daniel Duque-Estrada as Abel, an ex-Marine working as a janitor at the station who has more to his story than meets the eye. The Mayors Office of Media & Entertainment Announce 2018 Finance Lab To Support Female Filmmakers

Deputy Mayor Alicia Glen and Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME) Commissioner Julie Menin today announced details for the 2018 MOME Finance Lab, an afternoon of collaboration and networking that will provide filmmakers with projects by, for or about women with a variety of professional opportunities, including 'speed funding' meetings with financiers to seek support for their projects. On April 17th, thirty women filmmakers will have the opportunity to deliver pitches for their projects to the industry's leading financial backers. The aim of the event is to cultivate films in New York City made by, for, and about women. Now in its second year, the MOME Finance Lab seeks to address the persistent gender gap in the filmed entertainment industry.
