SHOWTIME has released the official trailer for its new dark comedy series ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, premiering on Sunday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), the 10-episode series is a story about the cult of free enterprise and one woman's relentless pursuit of the American Dream.

SHOWTIME has released the official poster and trailer for its new dark comedy series ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, premiering on Sunday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ETPT. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), the 10-episode series is a story about the cult of free enterprise and one woman's relentless pursuit of the American Dream. 

Showtime Picks Up New Dark Comedy Starring Kirsten Dunst

SHOWTIME has picked up ON BECOMING A GOD IN CENTRAL FLORIDA, a one-hour series set to debut Sunday, August 25 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Kirsten Dunst (Fargo), the nine-episode series is a darkly comedic story about the cult of free enterprise and one woman's relentless pursuit of the American Dream. In addition to Dunst, the series stars Théodore Pellerin (Genesis), Beth Ditto (Nocturnal Animals), Mel Rodriguez (The Last Man on Earth) and Ted Levine (The Silence of the Lambs). Created and executive produced by Robert Funke and Matt Lutsky and produced by Sony's TriStar Television, the series is also executive produced by Smokehouse Pictures' George Clooney (Catch-22) and Grant Heslov (Catch-22), along with Dunst, Charlie McDowell (The One I Love), who also directed the pilot and Esta Spalding (MASTERS OF SEX), who also serves as showrunner. The announcement was made today by Gary Levine and Jana Winograde, Presidents of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

My Brightest Diamond Announces WC Headline Tour

My Brightest Diamond is excited to announce a short West Coast headline run at the end of February 2019 that will be rounding out their Noise Pop Festival 2019 performance alongside Beirut, Bob Mould and Teenage Fanclub among others.  The February tour follows a December North American trek with Stars and November European and UK trek with Ian Chang.  The week-long February West Coast run has My Brightest Diamond visiting Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver where they'll be playing songs from their forthcoming new studio album A Million And One – out November 23rd via Rhyme & Reason Records.

In one of the most highly anticipated sets of the weekend, Florence + the Machine debuted a brand new live show at this weekend's Outside Lands in San Francisco. Willo Perron of WP&A creative directed the new show, which received its world premiere during the band's headlining set Saturday, the highest attended day in the history of the festival. Declan Bennett, Jamie Muscato and Tori Allen-Martin to Star in Final MADE IN LDN

Sunday June 12th marks the last of Interval Productions' current Made in LDN season, which launched at The Cockpit in March. The season has been designed to present new British Musical Theatre writing, curated and presented by Interval Productions' Creative Director, Tori Allen-Martin, and supported using public funding by Arts Council England. So far the Made In Ldn season has showcased work from thirteen UK based writers and/or composers and now Declan Bennett joins the line up, performing in An Innocent Evening of Drinking, an exciting piece of new theatre that he co-wrote/created with Phil Griffin. Declan has asked curator Tori Allen-Martin to join him as part of the cast, which also features Jamie Muscato and Callum Fitzgerald. This performance will premiere brand new material from the show.
