The League of American Theatres and Producers will honor the U.S. Tour of MAMMA MIA! with the 2005 'Touring Broadway Award' tonight (formerly the National Broadway Theatre Award) for Best Long Running Musical. The Awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Hilton Hotel in New York.

Following its hugely successful 12 week run from November 2004, the International Tour of MAMMA MIA! which is currently in Estonia following a sold out season in South Africa, will go to Paris, Brussels, Lisbon, Zurich, Vienna and various German cities before returning to Edinburgh on 29th March 2005 for an 8 week season.

On Thursday, November 11th, the first Spanish language production (and 14th production of MAMMA MIA! to have opened worldwide) opens at the Lope De Vega Theatre in Madrid, Spain - marking the first time the musical will be presented in Spanish.
