Sara Kramer Performs at Fenway Park Game, July 17

Sara Kramer, who currently stars as Sophie Sheridan in Broadway's Mamma Mia!, will sing "God Bless America" at Boston's famed Fenway Park this Sunday, July 17th.

Kramer will sing the patriotic Irving Berlin classic during the seventh inning stretch of the
New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game.  Mamma Mia! is her Broadway debut, although she performed the role in the show's national tour. Kramer's regional credits include Christine in Phantom and Cosette in the world premiere of Les Miserables School Edition.

Mamma Mia!, which opened on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theatre on October 18th, 2001, has played over 820 performances in New York and continues to play to full houses. The show is also currently being performed in 12 countries around the world in 7 languages, as well as in 3 companies around North America. Mamma Mia! takes place on a tiny Greek Island, as a mother and daughter try to settle the girl's paternity before her wedding. The show is set to the songs of ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, with hits including "Dancing Queen," "Money, Money, Money" and "The Winner Takes It All."

Mamma Mia!'s book is by Catherine Johnson, with direction by Phyllida Lloyd and choreography by Anthony Van Laast. Produced by Judy Craymer, Richard East and Ulvaeus for Littlestar in association with Universal, the musical features production design by Mark Thompson, lighting design by Howard Harrison, sound design by Andrew Bruce and Bobby Aitken and musical supervision, additional material and arrangements by Martin Koch.

"Yankees at Red Sox" will be televised live nationwide on ESPN (Channel 28, Manhattan Time Warner Cable) beginning at 6:00 p.m.(EST).  Kramer is scheduled to appear in the 8:00 p.m. half hour. Check local listings.
