Iconic live performance venue the Roundhouse in association with leading live comedy production company Berk's Nest has announced that comedy legends Simon Amstell and Bridget Christie will be performing at the first ever Roundhouse Comedy Festival on Wednesday 16th August.

The crowd-favorite musical 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' returns to The Sauk, Hillsdale County's community theatre, for a two-week run, July 27 through August 6 at the Sauk Theatre in Jonesville.

On Friday August 4, the Bard Music Festival returns with an intensive two-week exploration of “Vaughan Williams and His World.”

This September Northern Ballet will present Generations: Three Short Ballets, a trio of contemporary ballets created by choreographers at different stages of their careers curated by Artistic Director Federico Bonelli.

What did our critic think of CHILDREN OF EDEN at The Weekend Theater?

I teasingly have been calling this 1776 - THE FOUNDING MOTHERS EDITION all week, and it is finally here at the Hobby Center brought in by Theatre Under the Stars. This is a New York cast hitting Houston for a three night stop of a national tour. My question is, does it really make that much of a statement? The script for the show remains what it has been since 1776 debuted on Broadway back in 1969.

Aidan Bissett celebrates finding someone who’s authentic amid a town full of pretenders on his buoyant new single, “Sick.” He wrote the track with Captain Cuts’ Ryan Rabin and Benjamin Berger (Walk The Moon, Bebe Rexha), who also produced, and Ryan McMahon. The music video was directed by Brooke James (Troye Sivan, Tinashe).

Disney’s iconic Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and their best friends Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and Owl (oh... and don’t forget Tigger too!) have come to life in a beautifully crafted musical stage adaptation.
