BroadwayWorld has just learned that Broadway veteran and star of THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, Keala Settle, will perform the film's Oscar nominated hit 'This Is Me' at the 90th Academy Awards.

Musicals born and raise at streets of imaginations of young people. Daniel Ruffing and Noah Meaux have been working on a promising new musical called 'Secrets the Musical' which gives the vibrations of 'Dear Evan Hansen' and 'Be More Chill' meets 'Bonnie and Clyde'.

Mena Massoud, who will star as the title role in Disney's live-action Aladdin film, has posted on Twitter that filming has wrapped. The movie is set to release in summer 2019. Check out the tweet below!

The Penny Seats are buzzing with anticipation as they prepare to bring the first show of their 2018 season, EDGES, written by Tony-Award and Golden Globe winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dear Evan Hanson, Dogfight, James and the Giant Peach, La La Land, The Greatest Showman), back to the site of its World Premier: The Kerrytown Concert House. Pasek and Paul wrote the show as students at the University of Michigan, and debuted it at the Concert House in 2005.

Sedos presents a new production of the award-winning musical Dogfight at the Bridewell Theatre, off Fleet Street, from 6 - 10 March 2018. The musical, which has book by Peter Duchan and music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, is based on the 1991 movie of the same name starring River Phoenix.

20th Century Fox has announced a week of sing-along screenings of its hugely popular, original musical feature film THE GREATEST SHOWMAN.

Billboard reports that the soundtrack to THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, featuring original songs from Tony and Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, is heading for its second straight week at at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated Jan. 20

Barrington Stage Company and Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, has announced the 2018 season, which will feature three world premieres, including a major new musical from Tony Awards winners William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin, a new play from Off Broadway Alliance Award winner Lloyd Suh, and the first major production of a work from an exciting young playwright, Rachel Lynett.
