Ben Stiller has made a career out of starring in and directing blockbuster comedies. Now, however, he's focusing on more serious work, he says, in an interview with Tony Dokoupil for CBS SUNDAY MORNING to be broadcast Sunday, Nov. 11 (9:00 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

The Stella Adler Studio of Acting's Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater will present The Whale, the critically acclaimed play by award winning playwright Samuel D. Hunter. The Whale runs from November 14-30, 2018.

SHOWTIME has unveiled the posters and a behind-the-scenes video for ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA. The seven-part limited series stars Academy Award® winners Benicio Del Toro (Traffic) and Patricia Arquette (Boyhood), and Golden Globe® nominee Paul Dano (Love & Mercy, There Will Be Blood), and is executive produced and directed by Emmy®  winner Ben Stiller. ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA is based on the stranger-than-fiction prison break in upstate New York in the summer of 2015 which spawned a statewide manhunt for two convicted murderers, aided in their escape by a married female prison employee who reportedly carried on months-long affairs with both men. The series will premiere on November 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Benicio Del Toro is set to star in Oliver Stone's drama White Lies, according to Variety. The film will be directed by Stone, who also wrote the script. The film will offer an intimate exploration of family, loss, and love.

The network also announced the premiere date for the new limited series ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA on Sunday, November 18 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. CBS Studios International will host the world premiere screening of the new SHOWTIME limited series, ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA, at MIPCOM 2018. The premiere will take place in the Palais des Festivals on Monday, October 15, with Ben Stiller, executive producer and director of the series, in Cannes for the event.

Written, produced and performed by Fanshen, One Drop of Love explores the intersections of race, class and gender in search of truth, justice and love, using the ever-changing racial categories on the U.S. Census as the historical backdrop. Fanshen parallels this history with her own, and her family's, search for roots, identity and justice, and asks the audience to examine their own identities. The ultimate goal of the performance is to encourage the discussion of race and racism openly and critically, and to encourage a commitment to making the world more liberated for all.
