Casting has been announced by producer Joey Parnes for the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder."  The musical opens at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre on March 23 and playing through May 1, 2016. (There is one preview on March 22.)

On Sunday, March 15 2015, to celebrate Broadway Sings for Pride's (www.BroadwaySingsforPride.com) upcoming 5th Anniversary Gay Pride charity concert in June, they will be amping up the star power and going into the recording studio. The selection of songs will be favorites from their previous shows and cast members who support Broadway Sings for Pride including a special arrangement of Seasons of Love featuring RENT Alumni.

Joe Carroll (Cinderella, Once), Eric LaJuan Summers (Motown The Musical), Genson Blimline (Rock Of Ages), and Larry Owens (Fat Camp) join Rebecca Naomi Jones (Big Love, American Idiot), Alysha Umphress (On the Town, American Idiot), Kacie Sheik (Hair), Theo Stockman (Hair, American Idiot), Matthew Hydzik (Side Show, West Side Story), Ben Roseberry (The Lion King), Sara Kapner (Bare), and Kasie Gasparini (Mamma Mia), along with show creators Zac Lasher (U-Melt, Bebe Buell Band, Maggie Rose), Jay Leibowitz (The Acting Company, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey), and their band featuring Kevin Griffin and Rob Salzer of U-Melt, Dan McNaney and Sparkie Sandler. The musical will run June 13 - 29 in Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall and then play the Atlanta premiere at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from July 8 - 13. TUTS invites everyone to take a trip "under the sea" including all the familiar classic songs plus a few new ones along with a story that charms people of all ages!

A staged reading of a new musical 'Petrified,' is scheduled for private performances at Cap21 studios May 19th and 20th. Part comedy, part drama, part satire with a lot of heart, 'Petrified' is the story about a middle-American family trying to keep their lives together during this century's Great Recession.

Lyons and Pakchar are a new contemporary writing duo blending Pop/R&B for the Theatre. Their debut album #LOVE, which explores the good, bad, and awkward roller coasters in human relationships, was recently recorded live in concert at The Cutting Room. Today Contemporary musical theatre songwriters Douglas Lyons and Ethan Pakchar have digitally released their debut album, '#Love (Live).

The concert is a benefit for ASPCA and will feature Derek Klena, Arielle Jacobs, Gabrielle Ruiz, Kennedy Caughell, Genny Lis Padilla, Margot B, Dana Costello, Cicily Daniels, Kristin Valphedes, Katie Hotz, Lacey Angerosa, Libby Servais, Jenna Leigh Green, Emily Esposito, Britney Coleman, Matt Shingledecker, Allison Rerecich , Geoffrey Kidwell, Jaime Cepero, Jose Sepulveda, Brandon Ellis, David Davila, Tatiana Lofton, Brian Charles Rooney, Jerey Plybum, Ben Roseberry, and Eric Restivo.

On August 19th, emerging writing duo Lyons and Pakchar recorded their debut album # LOVE live at The Cutting Room. The 11-song record, infusing Pop/R&B and theatre, explores the good, bad, and awkward roller coasters in human relationships and is due for a release in Fall/Winter of 2013.
