Gate Theatre today announces the casting for the world premiere of In The Night Time (Before the Sun Rises). Ben Kidd directs Alex Waldmann as Man and Adelle Leonce as Woman. In The Night Time (Before the Sun Rises) opens at the Gate Theatre on 8th February, with previews from 4th, and runs until the 27th February.

Artistic Director Christopher Haydon today announces the Gate Theatre's new season Nuclear: A Season about the Family. The season opens with the world premiere of Nina Segal's In the Night Time (Before the Sun Rises), followed by the world premiere of The Iphigenia Quartet which includes Agamemnon by Caroline Bird, Iphigenia by Suhayla El-Bushra, Clytemnestra by Lulu Raczka and Chorus by Chris Thorpe.

Two internationally acclaimed productions receive their London premieres at the Young Vic in 2015. Bull, Mike Bartlett's dark workplace comedy will run 8 January - 7 February 2015. Lippy, an exploration of a real-life Irish tragedy and a major hit at the Dublin and Edinburgh Festivals, will run 19 February - 21 March 2015.

Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse have appointed director Nick Bagnall as their first permanent Associate Director. Bagnall joins the company following the success of The Last Days of Troy at Royal Exchange, Manchester and Shakespeare's Globe. The theatre's artistic team will also be bolstered by the appointment of Lindsey Alvis, who was previously with Headlong, as Producer.

Arriving directly from critically acclaimed, sold-out runs in London and Dublin, Ireland's Dead Centre will make their US debut at Abrons Arts Center with Souvenir, written and performed by Bush Moukarzel and directed by Ben Kidd. Souvenir takes Marcel Proust's seven-novelRemembrance of Things Past as its point of departurefor a freewheeling, 56-minute exploration of memory, jealousy and time. The performance will open on the evening of November 14, the centennial of Proust's first novel published in the series: Swann's Way.
