The newly created Children's Touring Partnership presents its inaugural show next spring: the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Michelle Magorian's stunning novel Goodnight Mister Tom in a brand new adaptation for the stage by David Wood, the UK's "National Children's Dramatist" (The Times).

Following its massive sell out success in 2009 Willy Russell's Our Day Out The Musical returns to the Royal Court Liverpool from 27 August - 9 October 2010, with press performances from 2 September. Our Day Out The Musical is directed by Bob Eaton, designed by Mark Walters with lighting Ian Scott, musical direction by Howard Gray and choreography by Beverley Norris-Edmunds.

The European premiere of In The Blood by Suzan-Lori Parks - the first African-American woman ever to win a Pulitzer Prize, and one of America's most successful contemporary playwrights - plays at the Finborough Theatre for a three week season, opening on 17 August 2010, as part of the 30th anniversary year of the Finborough Theatre. [This production replaces the announced production of The Drawer Boy which has been postponed, due to the sudden indisposition of actor Kenneth Bryans.]

Following his successful first season as Lyric Artistic Director, Sean Holmes announces new productions to complete the spring season for the theatre. The season includes collaborations with some of the most exciting and innovative UK companies and artists.

The Brooklyn Academy of Music has announced their 2010 season, which will include the Donmar Warehouse's production of Strindberg's CREDITORS, directed by Alan Rickman. The cast will feature Anna Chancellor, Tom Burke and Owen Teale who will remain with the production after the transfer.

James Macdonald returns to the Almeida to direct the world premiere of Christopher Hampton's new version of Ödön von Horváth's Judgment Day. Judgment Day will run at the Almeida from 3 September - 17 October 2009, with press night on 10 September. Set designs are by Miriam Buether with costume design is by Moritz Junge, lighting by Neil Austin, sound by Chris Shutt and music by Matthew Herbert.

The Royal Shakespeare Company will tour Roy Williams' acclaimed and blisteringly topical play, Days of Significance, to Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Oxford, Coventry, Poole, Cardiff and Salford in October and November 2009.
