Center Theatre Group has announced the casting for the West Coast premiere of the hit musical parody 'Spamilton,' created, written and directed by Gerard Alessandrini. Currently in rehearsals, 'Spamilton' begins previews November 5, opens November 12 and continues through December 31, 2017, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre. Today, the producers of 'Spamilton,' the critically acclaimed parody of 'Hamilton,' announced an October 8 closing date for the Chicago run at the Royal George Theatre (1641 N. Halsted).

'The One Woman No Show' by Liz Anderson is returning to The Crowd in a run of one-woman shows performed and cold-read by people who are not that woman. Performances are July 3 - July 24, 8PM at The Crowd Theater.

For a children's story, The Secret Garden evokes the kind of emotions that could make grown men sob. At least, that's what me and my fiance did for a majority of Denver Center Theatre Company's current production.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts presents the touring production of The Sound of Music, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien. This lavish new production will make its Washington, D.C. premiere at the Kennedy Center Opera House June 13-July 16, 2017 as part of a North American tour. Tickets are currently on sale.

The Secret Garden has book & lyrics by Marsha Norman, music by Lucy Simon, and is based on the novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. The production runs now through May 28, 2017 at the Stage Theatre at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. The DCPA Theatre Company announced today that due to popular demand, they have added an additional performance of The Secret Garden on Sunday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. The performance will benefit the DCPA's student matinee program.
