On Monday, September 26, 2016, The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization who for the past 12 years has been dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2016 recipients at its annual awards ceremony, The IT Awards. Hosted by a crowd favorite, Jason Kravits and directed by award winning director and sound designer, DeLisa White the ceremony took place from 7pm to 10pm at the Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College.

Totem Pole Playhouse, Pennsylvania's premiere summer theatre located in Caledonia State Park between Gettysburg and Chambersburg, PA, presents A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum July 30 through August 14. One of the funniest musical comedies ever written, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum features the music and lyrics of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim and book by multiple Tony and Emmy Award-winning writer Larry Gelbart, who created the smash TV series 'M*A*S*H.' The musical, sponsored by Walker, Connor & Spang LLC, is directed by playhouse veteran David Hemsley Caldwell, and closes out the theatre's 2016 summer season, sponsored by Franklin County Visitors Bureau.

Nearly everyone is familiar with the tale of CINDERELLA. You've either been read the story as a child, or perhaps viewed one of the many movie versions. It's just one of those things that seems to creep into our subconscious through osmosis. In fact, variations continue to pop up in books and films to this day.
