Casting is now complete for the Hollywood Bowl's upcoming production of Annie. The new cast members are Roger Bart as Daniel 'Rooster' Hannigan, Kaylin Hedges as Annie, Ali Stroker as 'Star-to-Be,' Amir Talai as Bert Healy, Marlow Barkley as Kate, Amadi Chapata as Pepper, Noe Lynds as July, Rae Martinez as Tessie, Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja as Molly, and Olivia Zenetzis as Duffy.

'My life has always been about what I ate,' said the veteran comedy writer and actor. 'What can I tell you?' In this latest theatrical production of her 1986 book, it's quite a lot, actually.

It's time once again to "get ready to match the stars" with a new edition of Dennis Hensley's The MisMatch Game, the show the Los Angeles Times calls, "witty, ribald ... an adventure in surrealist era bending." The side-splitting parody of the '70s game show returns to the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Renberg Theatre for two hilarious nights on Saturday, July 28, at 8pm and Sunday, July 29, at 7pm. 

Deborah Grace Winer continues her 3-part Feinstein's/54 Below series of jewel box revues celebrating the Classic American Songbook with its season finale on Sunday, June 17th, TILL THERE WAS YOU: A CELEBRATION OF Barbara Cook with Musical Direction by Mark Hummel and direction by Mark Waldrop. It has just been announced that stars Ana Gasteyer as ("Miss Hannigan') and Megan Hilty ("Lily St. Regis.") have joined the cast of the upcoming Hollywood Bowl production of ANNIE, which will take place Friday, July 27, at 8 pm, Saturday, July 28, at 8 pm, and Sunday, July 29, at 7:30 pm.

Fifteen years ago (2003) Golden Girls LIVE: On Stage! was created by real life couple Peter Mac and John Mac as a loving tribute in the style of Brady Bunch LIVE. The Macs created a loving drag parody of everyone's favorite sitcom, which played to sold out audiences at the now shuttered Rose's Turn in the West Village. The show uses spot on impersonations of the original Actresses as source material (they play Estelle Getty and Beatrice Arthur respectively) and creates original improv-parody situations to bring the girls back for the reunion fans never got.

The Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center has announced the return of the legendary Miss Coco Peru for an encore of her latest solo show, The Taming of the Tension. Directed by longtime collaborator Michael Schiralli, Coco will play two performances only at the Renberg Theatre on Saturday, April 28, at 8pm and Sunday, April 29, at 7pm.

The Actors Fund announced today a one night benefit concert of last year's planned off-Broadway revival of When Pigs Fly, that never actually got to play for an audience. The concert, which will reunite the cast members and creative team for one night only, is set for Monday, April 9th.
