The Big House, a charity which enables care leavers and at risk young people to fulfil their potential through drama, wraparound support and long term mentoring, today announces new premises in Islington and the world premiere of Bullet Tongue by Andrew Day and Sonya Hale, a promenade piece through the new building, which will be developed with and performed by a group of young people at risk of social exclusion. The new building's inaugural production, directed by Artistic Director and CEO of The Big House, Maggie Norris, opens on 16 November, with previews from 14 November and runs until 8 December.

Today Frantic Assembly announces its tour dates of The Unreturning, a brand new co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth. Telling the interwoven stories of three men coming home from war, this new work by Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting winner Anna Jordan will be directed by Frantic Assembly associate director Neil Bettles and marks the 10th anniversary of Frantic Assembly's award-winning Ignition training programme. The Unreturning will have its world premiere at Theatre Royal Plymouth on 20 September 2018 before playing at various venues across the UK until 16 March 2019. LOST DOG's "searingly witty" (SeeingDance) 'Juliet & Romeo' opened to packed houses and critical acclaim at a two week run at Battersea Arts Centre in London earlier this year. Broadly based on Shakespeare's deeply pessimistic teenage love story, this "highly entertaining, extremely amusing and occasionally quite tender evening of theatre and dance" (Times) is performed by Lost Dog's Artistic Director Ben Duke and Solene Weinachter. This clever, funny production explores contemporary culture's celebration of youth and how it creates unrealistic expectations around love, sex and relationships. The National Theatre have today announced the full cast for Nine Night, Natasha Gordon's critically acclaimed play which will transfer from the National Theatre to the Trafalgar Studios on 1 December 2018 (press night 6 December) in a co-production with Trafalgar Theatre Productions. Natasha Gordon will take the role of Lorraine in her debut play, for which she has recently been nominated for the Best Writer Award in The Stage newspaper's 'Debut Awards'. She is joined by Oliver Alvin-Wilson (Robert), Michelle Greenidge (Trudy), also nominated in the Stage Awards for Best West End Debut, Hattie Ladbury (Sophie), Rebekah Murrell (Anita) and Cecilia Noble (Aunt Maggie) who return to their celebrated NT roles, and Karl Collins (Uncle Vince) who completes the West End cast.
In September 2018 award-winning physical theatre company Gecko marks the opening of Battersea Arts Centre's theatre programme in the newly refurbished Grand Hall with Missing, the original run of which was interrupted by a disastrous fire of the Grand Hall in March 2015.
