The winner of the 2012 Tony Award for Best Musical, Once, begins performances on August 22 in Northwest Arkansas at TheatreSquared. The play is based on the surprise hit independent film by John Carney, adapted for stage with input from the original stars of the movie, songwriters Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova, along with renowned Irish playwright Enda Walsh. TheatreSquared's production of Once is led by Associate Artistic Director Amy Herzberg, who returns to the helm after last season's sold-out production of Fun Home.

The Colorado Theatre Guild's 13th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $45 at the door. Tickets go on sale June 12, 2018 through the Lone Tree Arts Center website at www.LoneTreeArtsCenter.org or by calling the box office at 720-509-1000.

Tonight, titled 'Broadway Does St. Paddy's', has company members joining forces to celebrate the 'Luck O' The Irish' and benefit VH1's Save The Music Foundation by raising money to keep music in public schools around the United States. One thing is certain: Northport's stunning John W. Engeman Theatre never disappoints. This especially with their latest offering of the eight-time Tony winning musical Once. The absolutely exquisite incarnation, running through March 4th, is outstandingly directed by Trey Compton and boasts an incredibly gifted and beautiful cast. Based on the 2007 movie, the story centers on a woman and a man (not officially named in the show) who, besides instant attraction, are drawn to each other by music. However, it is a complicated and heart-tugging situation.
