Theatre of NOTE Stages Los Angeles Premiere of DISASSEMBLY, Now thru 3/22

Theatre of NOTE kicks of its 2014 season with the Los Angeles premiere of DISASSEMBLY, written by Steve Yockey, (2013 recipient of the LA Weekly Playwriting Award), and directed by Ovation Award-winner Tom Beyer. DISASSEMBLY will open tonght, February 21st at 8pm and run through Saturday, March 22nd at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 7pm.

BoHo Theatre Brings AMADEUS to Stage 773, Now thru 3/16

BoHo Theatre continues its milestone 10th season with AMADEUS, Peter Shaffer's masterpiece about genius, jealousy, and the lies we tell to preserve a legacy. Amadeus represents the Bohemian Pillar of Truth in BoHo's 2013/2014 Season.

UUA Bookstore Presents Ron Cordes' Unitarian Universalist History DVD Series

Ron Cordes, a Unitarian Universalist in Bedford, MA, has created a six-DVD series tracing UU history from early Christianity through the present day. Newcomers and lifelong UUs will learn something from this wonderful resource, described in UU World as one of the most important video resources for teaching and learning UU history.

Lifeline Theatre to Stage World Premiere of LYLE FINDS HIS MOTHER, 3/22-4/27

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents Lyle Finds His Mother, a world premiere musical based on the beloved children's book Bernard Waber, adapted by Jessica Wright Buha, with music and lyrics by Michael James Brooks, and directed by Lifeline Theatre Artistic Director Dorothy Milne. Lyle loves his life with the Primms in the house on East 88th Street. But everything changes when Hector P. Valenti, Star of Stage and Screen, returns with an offer to take Lyle to meet his mother in the land of the crocodile. Should Lyle trust the devious showman? And will his adopted family understand his desire to meet his birth mother? Travel the world on a journey of hilarity and heart in this world premiere musical for the entire family. This production is recommended for children ages five and up (children under two not permitted), and runs one hour with no intermission. The book will be on sale in the lobby.

'Loose Chicks' will be at Uncharted Books, 2620 N Milwaukee Ave, in January! Roberta Miles and Jillian Erickson, the original 'Loose Chicks' will be starring in and presenting an hour long performance based on her experiences through life. Guest Chicks Bonniejean Alford, Melinda Mcintire, & Jessamyn Fitzpatrick will be featured this month. This juicy, gutsy, balsy, cutting edge look at life through the eyes of three femme fatales will be presented at Uncharted Books, 2630 N. Milwaukee. The performance is tonight, January 10 @ 7:15pm. There is a suggested donation.
