Paramount Network's Original Scripted Comedy 'Nobodies' Starring Hugh Davidson, Larry Dorf, and Rachel Ramras Premieres Thursday, March 29 at 10PM ET/PT

TV Land Cancels LOPEZ and THROWING SHADE; NOBODIES Moves to Paramount Network

TV Land has given the axe to two of its original series. LOPEZ, the comedy starring George Lopez, has been canceled after two seasons. The network's other late-night comedy, THROWING SHADE has also been canceled after one season. Their other original series NOBODIES, a comedy produced by Melissa McCarthy and Ben Falcone, will move to new Viacom venture Paramount Network, as reported by Deadline.

Rose Hall, home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. TV Land Orders THROWING SHADE Late Night Show Based on Funny or Die Series

V Land is getting into the late night game with a series pick-up for 'Throwing Shade,' the hit podcast and Funny Or Die video series, with a 10-episode order, slated to premiere in January 2017 in the 11pm ET/PT timeslot. The political and pop culture late night show, which will have a live audience, stars Erin Gibson ('Parks and Recreation,' 'Kroll Show') and Bryan Safi ('Modern Family,' 'Superstore') as themselves and will bring their unique perspective to the hottest topics of today, from feminism and gay rights to the latest celebrity nonsense.
