THE AMERICAN TRADITION, Ray Yamanouchi's scathing satire about race and gender in the US, begins performances tonight at the 13th Street Repertory Company.

New Light Theater Project is thrilled to present the world premiere of THE AMERICAN TRADITION written by Ray Yamanouchi and directed by Axel Avin, Jr. THE AMERICAN TRADITION begins performances on Friday, January 25 for a limited engagement through Saturday, February 16. 

New Light Theater Project (Sarah Norris, Artistic Director; Michael Aguirre, Producing Director; Jacob Perkins, Literary Manager) will present their most ambitious season to date with five NYC premieres in its 2018-2019 season, all exploring the theme: "A History, Rewritten."

 Fresh Ground Pepper (FGP), a New York City based arts incubator in its 10th season of instigating and presenting new work, is proud to announce its first ever multi-week emerging arts festival at The New Ohio Theatre from April 10 through 21, 2018. The inaugural FGP Festival will present art parties, new works-in-progress, and workshop productions that span genre, form, and interactivity, including new works of performance, visual art, comedy, music, immersive theatre, board gaming, and literature.

Mission to (dit)Mars, a theatre arts collective serving Queens artists, is thrilled to continue the Launch Pad reading series with THE AMERICAN TRADITION, a new play by Ray Yamanouchi. This free play reading will be performed on Monday, November 6th at 7pm at The Broom Tree Theatre located at 23-35 Broadway in Astoria, NY.
