Broadway Backwards (#BroadwayBackwards) took the stage last night, April 2, 2018, at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street, NYC), currently home to the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Kinky Boots. The evening was produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and benefits Broadway Cares and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center in New York City. What began as a small, grassroots concert performed at The Center in 2006 quickly grew into a highly anticipated event presented in Broadway's best theatres. Monday night marks the return of Broadway Backwards- Broadway's annual gender-swapped celebration of love and the LGBT community. In its 12 editions, Broadway Backwards has raised more than $3.4 million for Broadway Cares and The Center.

Today is World Theatre Day and the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) fittingly announced the host, date, creative team, and venue for the 39th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, the awards show and party that celebrates extraordinary Toronto talent in the performing arts.

Tickets have sold out to next month's Broadway Backwards, Broadway's annual gender-swapped celebration of love and the LGBT community, as more stars of stage and screen join the already distinguished lineup of performers.

The Actors Fund announced today that Come From Away has added a Special Benefit Performance for The Actors Fund. This benefit performance will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 7:30 pm at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street).

Junkyard Dog Productions announces today a new block of tickets on sale for the Tony Award-winning smash hit Broadway musical COME FROM AWAY for performances through Sunday, February 24, 2019.

The Toronto Production of Come From Away opened February 13th at the Royal Alexandra Theatre. Come From Away tells the heartwarming story of the thousands of travelers who were forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland during 9/11, and the Newfoundlanders who opened their hearts and homes to them.
