The M Center of Brooklyn soared to new heights with VOICES, their annual concert of the promising students of the M Music Master Class. Now, the celebrated training ground will start a new tradition with the opening of SHOWTUNE, a tribute to the greatest works of the American Musical Theater.

Brooklyn's celebrated arts training center completes its second season with a rousing night of Broadway favorites sung by Mary Micari's Musical Master Class and performed across the street from The Public Theater in Manhattan.

Brooklyn's M Center for the Arts announces the performers for the fifth season of the acclaimed musical master class, "Voices." Special Young Artists on Stage program inaugurated. Bay Ridge Brooklyn - Mary Elizabeth Micari's acclaimed "Voices" Musical Master Class -- a special 12-week vocal intensive course culminating in a concert showcasing the talents of her leading vocal students -- celebrates five years this season. The concert will again be at a venue in Manhattan.

This year, the program's final concert moves to one of off-off Broadway's most recognized venues, the Producers Club in Manhattan. Pianist and composer Dan Furman returns for his second year with the celebrated Brooklyn school of voice.

A group of artists from various theaters and schools have joined forces to create Bay Ridge Voice, a new vocal studio featuring private lessons and intimate classes designed to help you become the singer you've always wanted to be.

Ashley Chico - The 16-year-old Fort Hamilton High School student gained great acclaim as a leading performer in Teen Idol - has been dancing since she was five and singing since eighth grade. With J's New Dance Center, she toured locally in dance productions at festivals and community centers. She even sang solos at these festivals. Her first professional singing came in 2009 when she joined the Young Artists Program of Genesis Repertory. It was with that youth program that she appeared in Alice in Wonderland, Alice through the Looking Glass, and Peter Pan. As an original member of Bay Ridge Voice, Ashley hopes to cultivate her talents even more. She is even discussing recording her music in the near future.
