The Kitchen has announced its Winter/Spring 2023 programming, resulting from durational engagements that give experimental artists and collectives an abundance of time and organizational support to pursue their ideas.

The Kitchen will present GRIEF, the first New York institutional solo exhibition of work by celebrated composer, pianist, vocalist, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist Samora Pinderhughes.

The New York Virtuoso Singers conducted by Harold Rosenbaum present American Invention on Sunday, February 19, 2023 featuring vibrant American choral music from the 18th century to today.

Last month Martin announced the deluxe edition of Imaginary People which features 4 alternate piano versions of songs from the 2021 album. Imaginary People Deluxe Edition is out this Friday via Grand Jury. The deluxe edition will be available for purchase on CD & cassette on Friday, while standard vinyl versions of the album are available now.

The Brazen Youth share their new single “1TL2DU4 (Feat. girlpuppy)”, the latest song from their forthcoming full-length album Eagle, Idaho. The song is paired with a music video made with their friends Jenny and Josh of SNXKFilms. The full-length LP continues upon the path the Lyme, CT trio set for themselves with this past October’s Changing EP.

Ahead of the mini-album's release, Daniel has shared the video for first single 'Is It Going To Get Deeper Than This? (Dark Room Mix)'. Directed by Fletcher Pratt, the video propels artwork by Robert Beatty (Oneohtrix Point Never, The Weeknd, The Flaming Lips) into three-dimensions, Pratt sculpting a shimmering labyrinth.

Montreal duo formed by Adèle Trottier-Rivard and Nicolas Basque released a brand new song today, “Femme-Lady.” The song features Adèle’s sister Joséphine Trottier-Rivard and her mother Marie-Christine Trottier performing vocal harmonies. Directed by Léa Taillefer, the music video for the song shows them against a backdrop of footage shot in Tahiti.
