Lakewood Theatre Company will be having open auditions for roles in Gypsy on the following dates: For ADULTS SATURDAY, MARCH 6 AND SUNDAY MARCH 7, 2010 For YOUTH SATURDAY, MARCH 13 AND SUNDAY MARCH 14, 2010

The Jermyn Street Theatre in London will revive the musical ANYONE CAN WHISTLE as a part of its 2010 season. The production will run March 10th through April 17th, 2010. The show will feature a team of musical direction and arrangements by Tom Attwood, design by Morgan Large, and will be directed by Tom Littler.

Join us at the Dayton Playhouse on Monday and Tuesday, March 8th and 9th for auditions for our next Main Stage musical GYPSY, running running May 7th-23rd. Auditions will be held in the Dayton Playhouse lobby at 7pm on both nights. Call-backs will be on Wednesday, March 10th. Please come prepared with a 60 second monologue and a Broadway style song that shows vocal range and personality. An accompanist will be provided. Tony Award winner Donna Murphy will join Sutton Foster in Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents' Anyone Can Whistle in the final New York City Center Encores! production of the 2009-2010 season. Ms. Murphy will play Mayor Cora Hoover Hooper, the role originated by Angela Lansbury. Anyone Can Whistle, running for five performances April 8 - 11, will be directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw with musical direction by Rob Berman.

New Repertory Theatre, in residence at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, is thrilled to present Opus, a New England Premiere by Michael Hollinger. Opus opens for the press on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 7:30pm and plays through Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater.

Tony Award-winning Broadway legend Arthur Laurents is set to participate in a talkback after the February 23rd performance of ROMEO AND JULET. The show, directed by Penny Metropulos, will open at the Baruch Performing Arts Center on February 19th and play through the 27th.

According the the LA Times, Broadway LA has announced the 2010-2011 lineup for the Pantages Theatre. HAIR, SHREK THE MUSICAL, WEST SIDE STORY and ROCK OF AGES will all hit the Pantages stage this season in Hollywood.
