Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, announces a change to its 2017-2018 Season, Hank Williams: Lost Highway replaces The Wonder Years as the opening show.

Jakarta Performing Arts Community (JPAC), a non-profit community theatre, will present one of the most well-known love story and musical of all time: West Side Story.

Media Theatre takes to the streets of 1950's New York for a rousing production of one of musical theater's most beloved, iconic classics.

Indeed, West Side Story is the most acclaimed musical. And, ask musical actors/actresses what is their favorite Broadway musical of all time and most concur, West Side Story. Why? It has phenomenal music by Leonard Bernstein, with concise poetic lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a tight and gripping book by Arthur Laurents. The brilliant choreography established in 1957 by Jerome Robbins will never be forgotten. The book presents one of the most powerful love stories ever, next to Romeo and Juliet. With all these elements complementing one another, from the first downbeat of the orchestra and the appearance of the Jets creeping in one by one on a half-lit stage, the show pulls you in and doesn't let go for its two and a half hours ... and its message and images of love linger long after the curtain falls.

As previously announced, Tony Award-winners Barry Bostwick and Joanna Gleason will reunite and revisit Nick and Nora in a one-night-only concert presented by FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, on May 2nd, 2017. Feinstein's now announces that Allegiance star Marcus Choi (Wicked, Sweet Charity and more) will join the company as Yukido (replacing original star Thom Sesma who continues his run in Pacific Overtures at Classic Stage Company) with Daniel Walstad as Max Bernheim.

Wagner College Theatre presents the groundbreaking musical La Cage aux Folles with performances from April 20 - April 30, 2017 in the Main Hall Theatre.

Arden Theatre Company closes its 29th Season with the musical GYPSY by Arthur Laurents with music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, running May 18 through June 18, 2017, on the Arden's F. Otto Haas Stage at 40 N. 2nd Street in Philadelphia. Terrence J. Nolen directs.

The Guthrie Theater today announced the final two of nine productions to be offered as part of the theater's 2017-2018 subscription season: Indecent, a new play with music by Pulitzer Prize-winner Paula Vogel (How I Learned to Drive), conceived by Vogel and Rebecca Taichman; and the Guthrie's first production of the iconic American musical West Side Story, directed by Joseph Haj.

Penguin Rep Theatre, the award-winning professional Equity theatre in Stony Point (Rockland County), New York under the leadership of founding artistic director Joe Brancato and executive director Andrew M. Horn, announces its 40th anniversary season.

Feinstein's now proudly announces that the show's original stars will be joined by special guest Cady Huffman (Tony Award-winner, The Producers, The Nance, Will Rogers' Follies) as Tracy Gardner. Huffman will step into the role originated by Christine Baranski. Also joining the ensemble is Carly Sakolove (Newsical, Mammia Mia! National Tour), who will step into the role of Lorraine Bixby, originated by Faith Prince.

The Media Theatre has the legendary musical "West Side Story" April 19 through June 11. With a book by Arthur Laurents and a sweeping score from Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim, the musical is often referred to as one of the all-time greats in the Broadway canon. 

George Street Playhouse announced today that its recent Annual Gala Benefit was the most successful in the event's history, raising a record amount of funds in support of its mainstage and educational programming. The Gala took place at The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick on Sunday, April 2, 2017, and featured many stars of the stage and screen as presenters and performers.
