TV presenter and winner of Strictly Come Dancing, Ore Oduba will play the role of Teen Angel at certain performances at Leeds Grand Theatre, the opening venue of the UK and Ireland tour of GREASE. Ore alternates the role with the previously announced Peter Andre. Ore will play the role on 24 & 25 June and from 29 June to 16 July. GREASE opens at Leeds Grand Theatre on 19 June, running there until 20 July 2019. The tour then continues until October 2019. This new production of GREASE is directed by Nikolai Foster and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.

Further casting details for the hip-hop musical In The Willows have been revealed, as deaf street dancer Chris Fonseca will be among those joining the previously announced Clive Rowe. Choreographed by Rhimes Lecointe, the production will incorporate British Sign Language (BSL) into the choreography and BSL interpreted performances for a unified production for D/deaf and hearing audiences alike. The production opens at the Exeter Northcott on 22 February 2019, touring the UK until 1 June, with a press night on Thursday 21 March at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.
Following Strictly Come Dancing's introduction of Contemporary to the 2018 series (within the new dance category "Couple's Choice"), Candoco will be performing with thirteen of the programme's professional dancers to open Sunday 25th November's results show. With choreography from former judge Arlene Phillips, who has previously collaborated with Candoco on outdoor dance performance You and I Know, the performance marks the first time a contemporary dance company has appeared as a guest company. Blending Candoco's contemporary dance style with the vast array of ballroom and Latin styles, the piece will be performed to David Bowie's classic, Life on Mars.
