English National Ballet's Emerging Dancer award is now in it's eighth year and this time was able to reach an even wider audience through a live streaming from Sadler's Wells Theatre which has had 50,000 views to date. Benefitting Acting For Others, an umbrella name that represents 15 charities devoted to helping people in the theatre business, the West End Bake Off was a bounty of show-stopping sugary goodness.

42ND Street were today announced as the winners of the third annual West End Bake Off in aid of theatrical charity Acting for Others. The winners, chosen by judges choreographer Arlene Phillips and Olivier Award-winning actress Janie Dee, were revealed at the event held today at St Pauls Actors Church in Covent Garden.

The winners were today announced for theatrical charity Acting For Others' inaugural Presidential Awards.  The awards celebrate the most supportive and successful fundraisers who have helped the charity raise £380,000 over the previous twelve months.

The Australian Premiere will be held in Brisbane in November, then travel to Sydney in December, this new stage adaptation of The Wizard of Oz is an enchanting revision of the all-time classic.

Last night, musical 42ND STREET opened at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London's West End. The show received a royal seal of approval from Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, who was given a pair of golden tap shoes by the producers and writer/director Mark Bramble. The Duchess attended the show in her role as Royal Patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH).

Grease is the word! The hit 70s musical returns in 2017 for a UK tour, opening in Manchester on 10 March 2017. Casting for the tour includes Tom Parker (The Wanted) who makes his musical theatre debut playing Danny Zuko, Danielle Hope (Over the Rainbow winner) who plays Sandy, and Louisa Lytton (Strictly Come Dancing, EastEnders) who plays Rizzo.

???????Grease is the word! Glaswegian star Gary Lamont (River City) joins the cast of Grease for two weeks only to play the role of Teen Angel. Gary will take on the role during the tour's dates at the King's Theatre, Glasgow, 9-20 May 2017.

The critically acclaimed and multi award-winning new musical AN AMERICAN IN PARIS had its official London premiere tonight, Tuesday 21 March, at the beautifully restored Dominion Theatre. Christopher Wheeldon's stunning reinvention of the Oscar-winning film (that starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron) features the sublime music and lyrics of George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a new book by Craig Lucas.
