"Spring Dance Theatre" is an adventure in story-telling coordinated by Gladys Kares, running May 3-13, 2018 in the Little Theatre. "Spring Dance Theatre" combines student, faculty and guest artist choreography in a mix of jazz, ballet, and modern dance.

Nashville singer/songwriter Gretchen Peters has released her new track 'Disappearing Act'. The song is currently streaming via Rolling Stone Country, who describes the track: 'A vivid portrait of a woman who's lost too much to care about appearing genteel, Peters' character sounds like she knows better than to get too comfortable.' 'Disappearing Act' is the first single from Peters' upcoming album Dancing With The Beast, which will be released May 18th.

San Francisco Opera Center Director Sheri Greenawald today announced the eleven recipients of the 2018 Adler Fellowship. Eight singers, two pianist/apprentice coaches and one director will take part in the program. The multi-year performance-oriented residency offers advanced young artists intensive individual training, coaching and professional seminars, as well as a wide range of performance opportunities. Adler Fellows are selected from the artists who have participated in the Merola Opera Program. The prestigious fellowship has nurtured the development of more than 175 young artists since its inception.

Over 100 years ago, the murder of Tillie Smith, a kitchen worker at Centenary Collegiate Institute (now Centenary University), rocketed the town of Hackettstown to national prominence. With wildly fluctuating reports driven by what some claim to be yellow journalism, the reputation of Tillie and her accused murderer, James Titus, swung from young innocent to harlot and upstanding citizen to lascivious predator. To this day, many say her ghost still haunts the campus of Centenary University, with reported sightings in dorm hallways and stories of organ music playing without anyone playing. While James Titus was convicted of her rape and murder, the truth is still unknown as to what actually happened that fateful night.
