To commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11, a highly distinguished cast of film, TV & stage actors gather for a benefit stage reading of Sarah Tuft's 110 STORIES last night (September 8th) and tonight (September 9th) at The Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NYU in Manhattan. The illustrious cast - which includes Lauren Ambrose, Andre Braugher, Billy Crudup, Edie Falco, Melissa Leo, Aasif Mandvi, Chris Noth, Vincent Piazza, Andre Royo, Susan Sarandon, Stelio Savante, Pablo Schreiber, Gabourey Sidibe, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Michael Stuhlbarg, Kathleen Turner, Ben Vereen, Merritt Wever, Samuel L. Tony Award nominee Bobby Cannavale might soon return to Broadway in the Kathleen Marshall-helmed NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, according to the NY Post. Cannavale would join the previously announced Matthew Broderick in the musical, and is currrently taking singing lessons to prepare for the role. No official casting announcement has been made.

On Thursday, July 28, actors Richard Gere, Annabella Sciorra, and Carey Lowell attended Off-Broadway's MANIPULATION, a new play by Victoria E. Calderon at the Cherry Lane Theatre, directed by Will Pomerantz. After the performance, they visited with Manipulation cast members Marina Squerciati and Saundra Santiago.
