The Broadway revival of Carousel shared some exciting news on Twitter this evening, as they shared a behind the scenes look of the cast in the recording studio prepping to capture this exquisite revival for all time on its very own cast recording. The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the national tour, which begins Tuesday, May 22, at the Ohio Theatre, and plays a limited one-week engagement through Sunday, May 27. Carousel and The Actors Fund announced today that the new hit revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical will host a special Mondaymatinee performace on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th St.), with proceeds to benefit The Actors Fund.

Producer Scott Rudin announced today a special Midnight Performance for Edward Albee's Three Tall Women on Thursday, May 17 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), which will be a one-night-only benefit for The Actors Fund. The first Broadway production of Edward Albee's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece stars two-time Academy Award®-winner Glenda Jackson, Tony Award® winner, three-time Emmy Award® winner, and 2018 Academy Award® nominee Laurie Metcalf, and Tony Award® nominee Alison Pill, and is directed by two-time Tony Award® winner Joe Mantello. Tickets will be available at actorsfund.org.

Justin Peck is a '21-century sensation' when it comes to the dance world. His most recent project was choreographing the current revival of Carousel on Broadway. Denzel Washington is currently on stage in Eugene O'Neill's ferocious American classic, The Iceman Cometh, but apparently he almost took on a different iconic role. In an interview with The New York Times, Washington says it came down to Iceman and King Lear.

THE BOOK OF MORMON is a satirical musical with book, lyrics, and music by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone. THE BOOK OF MORMON is the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are sent to Uganda on their first mission. The only thing the two boys have in common is their naive outlook on life. When they try to spread 'the word' among the locals they discover that religion is the last thing the villagers are concerned about.
