Acclaimed folk-rock band Eddie from Ohio's Robbie Schaefer will host an album launch and signing party in Signature's Mead Lobby on Monday, December 11 at 7PM for the new album, Sounds Like Home - Songs from The Musical Light Years.

Columbus State University 's College of the Arts will present renowned dancer/choreographer/actress Mercedes Ellington with its 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award in Dance at CSU's annual BROADWAY BALL on Friday, December 1 in Columbus, GA. The announcement was made by Karyn Tomczak, the Viki Jiles Flanagan Distinguished Chair in Dance in CSU's Department of Theatre.

Now entering its 28th year, Broadway Theatre Project (BTP), a program described by Playbill as The world's most prestigious musical theatre arts education program for high school and college students , is now accepting applications for the 2018 Summer Apprenticeship program, being held July 8-29, 2018. The deadline for applications and recorded auditions is February 12, 2018 with letters containing the results emailed by February 15th.

The latest collaboration between Princess Cruises and Stephen Schwartz is called BORN TO DANCE. On October 7, 2017, press and friends of the creators were treated to a special performance of the show aboard the Regal Princess while ported at the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

On October 1, 2017, the NYU Skirball Center was atwitter with a who's who of the global dance community at the Bright Lights Shining Stars Gala, celebrating the incredible New York Dance Alliance Foundation and paying homage to the recipient of their Ambassador for the Arts award, Ann Reinking. Broadway actors and dancers alike lit up the space with undeniable sparkle and the excitement was truly contagious. At a festive pre-show cocktail hour, Joel Grey stopped for pictures and Amra-Faye Wright and Dylis Croman chatted sweetly in the corner. But the room quieted as the incomparable Ann Reinking lithe and impossibly graceful walked in. She stopped for conversation and photos, and as I looked around the room, I noticed that every single person was beaming with admiration. In that moment, I knew that the evening was going to be very special.

Rick Skye, who won the 2017 MAC Award for Best Impersonation, will star in and host Don't Tell Mama's new monthly variety show Bazaaz! A Sequined Variety. The show, which will feature Skye's heralded impersonation as Liza Minnelli singing in his own voice, will showcase award-winning impersonations, guest performers and Skye's Kit Kat Boyz. Bazaaz!
