DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre will transport audience members through the rabbit hole into a world of wonder for twelve performances of Alice in Wonderland from February 14-March 2.

From the iconic songbook of Johnny Cash comes a unique musical about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption, and home and family. Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana, ignites their 2014 season of Premieres with RING OF FIRE- THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH Thursday, February 20 through March 30 with a press opening Sunday, February 23.

Composer Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin) infuses the Charles Dickens holiday classic with music the whole family will cherish. DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre is proud to announce their 17th season of live theatre performances for children and adults running February to December 2014. Audition opportunities to become a part of the performances begin in December and tickets for all shows are on sale now!

DreamWrights Youth and Family Theatre is pleased to announce Robert McCleary, of York Pa., as the nonprofit's new technical director. McCleary's primary responsibility is to support volunteers in preparing the critical behind-the-scenes details of all DreamWrights' shows while assuring a safe and enjoyable learning experience.

Perfectly timed in October, North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre's Carrie is sure to get you in the Halloween mood. First attempted on Broadway over 25 years ago, it was initially a flop. It garnered a kind of cult following in the subsequent years among a niche group of musical theater fans, and was recently resurrected Off-Broadway, dusted off and re-worked for today's audiences. It's now a Carrie for the masses, finally making its way from the New York stage into theaters of all sorts around the country.

Adams recently appeared in Oliver! at Drury Lane, Off-Broadway in the The Hunchback Variations, and was in the Broadway production and National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. He was seen at Theatre at the Center as 'Julian Marsh' in 42nd Street, 'Captain Von Trapp' in the Sound of Music, 'George' in La Cage aux Folles, 'Pilot' in Jesus Christ Superstar and in the title role in Maury Yeston's Phantom.

The North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre (NRACT) will present the southern regional premiere of 'Carrie: The Musical,' based on the 1974 horror novel by Stephen King, for ten performances, Oct. 18-Nov. 3.

Registration for DreamWright's second annual Dream Derby is now open for adults and children of all ages who wish to participate in a city-wide scavenger hunt to benefit DreamWright's programming on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 1-4:30 p.m. in York. The deadline for registration is Oct. 21.
