Theatre In The Park will continue its exploration of the definition of family with the regional premiere of Tim Clue and Spike Manton's hit vacation comedy, Leaving Iowa.

MAKING GOD LAUGH will mark its Chicago Premiere at Theatre at the Center. Produced in association with First Folio Theatre, this heartwarming comedy previews May 3 and runs through June 10 at 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, Indiana. The press performance will be Sunday, May 6 at 7 p.m.

The musical play telling the story of legendary country singer Patsy Cline and her most devoted fan, ALWAYS... PATSY CLINE kicks off Theatre at the Center's 2012 season. Based on a true story of this unparalleled pioneer for female performers and a fan from Houston she befriended in a Texas honky-tonk, the production previews February 23, opens February 26 and runs through April 1. ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE will be directed by Brian Russell. Russell, making his Theatre at the Center debut, is the former Artistic Director of American Theater Company and Director of the 1996 Chicago Premiere of ALWAYS...PATSY CLINE which transferred from Northlight Theatre in Evanston to a lengthy commercial run at Chicago's Apollo Theater. Also making her Theatre at the Center debut, newcomer Heather Beck will star as 'Patsy Cline'. Check out the production photos below!

Porchlight Music Theatre presents Jonathan Larson's tick, tick…BOOM!, directed by Adam Pelty with music direction by Diana Lawrence, at Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont Ave., April 28 - June 10. Preview performances are Saturday, April 28 at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 29 at 2 and 6 p.m. and Monday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m. Opening/press night is Thursday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m. The performance schedule is Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. There is an additional Friday, June 1 performance at 10 p.m. Single tickets are $38 with group and student discounts available.
